I guess you must be talking about airfoil specs.

http://www.airfieldmodels.com/information_source/math_and_science_of_model_aircraft/rc_aircraft_design/plotting_airfoils/about_airfoils.htm

Hope that helps!  Hats Off

This problem cannot be solved with just one input.
At least one more variable is reqd, viz, airspeed estimate.
A third desirable variable is the wing size being considered, ie, span and chord.

(Pl see my reply to your PM)

A good starting point is to use the Clark Y wing section and Wing size of between 60"x12"
to 84"x18".

Will it be enough to produce lift for 5 kg electric plane we are assuming the max weight will be 5 kg as we are making the plane out of basal wood, also how did you select these specs?? It would really helpful if you could just share it 😅

@abhijeetdhillon,
Just saw your email.
So you want to carry a payload of 15kg?

This is serious stuff.
And utterly different from a 5kg model!

Going to look at the SAE Chennai rules...
Best wishes

This is what I found:
1. Model weight min 2kg, max 5kg
2. Electric power, 4s-6s lipo. No restriction on power
3. Model length+width+height max 170 inches
4. No mention of 15 kg payload
5. Aircraft are flown in up to 5 flight rounds where they lift as much payload as possible. The aircraft must take off, complete a circuit, and land safely in order to achieve a successful flight round. Points are awarded not only for amount of weight lifted but also how accurately the team predicted the aircraft’s performance.

Note that payload weight is absolute. Not a proportion of the bare aircraft weight.

This means the largest, most powerful, high lift model you can build within 5kg bare weight.

One question, if you don't mind:
What is the largest RC aircraft that you have flown so far?

Well we very much new to this field, and have no experience with flying planes but we have plans to make a trainer in the few weeks and aiming to make a plane of that magnitude in the next 3 months, I am on this forum to get knowledge on how should I start the design 😅

Here are 2 design outlines that you can consider (within max 170" span+length+height)

1. Conventional planform of approx length 6', span 7', chord 1.5'

2. Flying wing of 10-12' span, 1.5-2' chord

Rules ban FRP.
But please check if carbon fibre is allowed.

Edit:
I guess carbon fibre is also considered FRP...

@abhijeetdhillon,
Don't know if you saw my last post...
But in case you are interested in the theory, here is a little input:

Assumptions:
1. All up weight 20kg (5kg airframe+15kg payload), or 44lbs
2. Wing span limited to around 7 feet by rules. Chord limited to about 1.5 feet by aspect ratio considerations. So wing area about 11sqft

Hence wing loading 4lbs/sqft (1-1.5 for typical 5' span 40 powered trainer)
Hence stall speed about 65kmph (25-30kmph for typical trainer as above)
Hence you need at least 100-135kmph for safe flight.

Stopping here to avoid boring you.
More inputs only if desired/requested.
Best wishes

One step at a time :)

What I think is that since the person is not responding, we should not help either.
I also think that the wing loading is too high and the plane would be difficult to fly.

Saw your PM.
To get an idea of how complicated your project will be, you can read this 57 page project report about a 400gm model designed to carry 1200gm payload...

@abhijeetdhillon,
If you are in Pune, try to contact Mr Bajare, who guides a lot of aeromodellers at Ramtekdi.
One or two years ago he had built and flown a VERY LARGE model for a govt establishment in Pune.
