Hi, I had built an hexacopter with following specifications on the drone but could not fly it completely off the ground and the pixhawk4 is not turning off when i increase the throttle

Can someone please help me out with your sugessions

SPECS :

MOTOR : 2200kv brushless out runner motor
MAX MOTOR THRUST : 1200 grams
PROPELLER : 10*4.5 (plastic)
BATTERY : 3S LI-PO (4500mAh, 25C 11.1V)
FLIGHT CONTROLLER : PIXHAWK 4
ESC : 30A
FRAME : F550 hexacopter with 4 landing gears with integrated PCB (620 grams)
TOTAL DRONE WEIGHT : 1550 grams

2200kv Motors are not good enough to provide the required thrust for 550 mm frame. You should look for a lower kv motor setup.

First of all the motor / Propeller choice for your build is not the best.

Assuming the 2200Kv motors that you are using are the cheap 2212 ones (Silver and gold color), 1045 propellers are a bad idea - for these motors you are better off with 6 or 7inch props.

But the best option for a 550 size hexa is lower Kv motors and bigger props (<1000Kv and >8" Props) .

Firstly your combination of motor to propeller isnt correct as everyone has already pointed that out! I am surprised that the motor and esc havent burned down yet! hahaha jokes aside

you need to get atleast a motor 22xx in the range of 800kv to 1000kv.

i am confused here, it seems you are able to arm the pixhawk since youve mentioned the hexacopter wont completely lift off the ground. This could mean that either the ESCs arent calibrated properly, propeller is slipping or you are drawing so much current from the battery that it isnt able to provide the motors enough power to lift.

and the other thing is the pixhawk doesnt turn off when you increase the throttle, its the other way around if the throttle is all the way at the bottom (0%) for few seconds the pixhawk disarms itself.

so i think a little more input is needed from your end!
if you can share videos of the issue it would be helpful. (remove the props for this since a 2200kv and a 10x4.5 prop will definitely burn your setup down due to over current draw!)

Yes a 2212 1100kv with 10x4.5 works!

But again we arent sure what exactly is the problem you facing

check prop rotation, make sure air is being pushed downwards towards the floor

Yeah that was fine. It was towards downwards

not sure what else could be the problem if everything else has been done properly!
could be voltage drop that prevents it from taking off

IL change the motor to what you've said and check once

BTW im hitting myself for not telling you this, but fly outside! Should have told this after watching the first video!
Always fly outside for safety reasons!

Just do an esc calibration using the pixhawk, check if your input sticks are correct and not reversed meaning if you give right roll the pixhawk radio setup page should show right roll.

Usually this issue comes when all the motors arent spinning at the same rpm, so i usually will do esc calibration using the pixhawk and then  just throttle up quickly to like 40% at take off  and then stabilise it in the air.

Hi like Naveed Said do the esc calibration. Apart from that am suspecting that you have not connected the esc to the Fc in proper order. Just have a cross check in that as well.
