@ajit: Do you guys have a dyno in AP? Or did you come down to Mumbai to get it Dynoed. 205 bhp at the crank or wheels? Which ECU are you using, RD? How is the dragon tuning box working on the swift?

@Siddharth - 205 bhp at the crank. not at the wheels. the stock internals cant take more than that. i would need forged internals to go above that safely. ECU is stock with an AEM fuel management system. actually considering a Race Dynamics standalone now.

and the stock intake manifold on the civic is plastic. cant take a lot of pounding. and the exhaust manifold is not a normal four port design. its integrated into the block and comes out as one port. so headers are also not an option. its just a single pipe - turbo - magnaflow.

as far as the tuning box on the swift is concerned it works pretty well. u can feel a change in the torque, and pretty much pulls cleanly to redline while the stock car starts loosing power after 3300 or so rpm. not that i would recommend taking a diesel to redline. but there is a difference in performance.

@iamahuman - well if u are asking abt tuning the AEM, i have not dared to fiddle with it. but for the swift it has a small screw on the box which can be used for adjustments. i have played around with different settings till i got a good mix of performance and fuel econnomy.

as for consumption with the swift
without box - 17-18 kmpl. mostly city driving with AC always on
with box     -  12-13 kmpl. when pushed really hard. 15-16 kmpl when driven normally.

@ajit: Thanks for the Info. That thing must be a rocket once the turbo spools. What boost are you running currently?

I have driven and sat in the most exotic of cars in India and abroad and done some insane speeds on the wrong side of 300Kph but rather not post it. But on a closed circuit managed between 140-160Mph in most of regular sports cars like the 911 turbo, f430 etc etc.

But im looking forward to next weekend for a ride in a UGR TT LP560 pushing 1000whp.
