That because of the resistance (Body), if low, thepotential cannot grow in case of Megger and the value show zero as the current pases. If you keep switch in neutral and keeep ur potential low, risk will be less.
Ultimately we get shock with the parameter 1. The current through our body. (Not Voltage and that is why ELCB/RCCB is specified with current rating. But the current passes through the body depends on ultemately voltage and the total circuit impedence.) 2. The time taken to pass the current (Till Circuit break). Therefore, the amount of energy absorbed in mWH. Now the trick. =========== 1. The current pass through our body. (Not Surface through sweet). If the body has plenty of sweet, it should pass the maximum amount of current through the surface not through body. But, surprisingly, here the load current is high (For Bulb, say 100 watt, Appx 450mA). For, Mixey, starting current from 1.5-2 Amps and the current limiter is set to 2A. for the heater, 1000watt, current = appx 4A. Now, our body sence electricity after 12-30mA and sometimes after 40-45mA. After 650-700mA and above, current passes through thye flesh, it becomes fetal and rigor mortise of the mussel may occur, This is due to ion-pump malfunction (Medical person may elaborate more.) therefore, the person should experience the shock. 2) Again, as the current pases, with the ion imbalance, heat would generate (I2R) and here seen that the person not contiuously pases(time reduces) high current (Heater) but makes on & off various times to withstand. It's surprisingly, being an electrical Engineer, I request to check the response in DC insted of AC. His skin was examined and was found to be normal, Doctors advised him to stop doing these things but they didn't find any harmful effects of it. IF i find the video on youtube, ill upload it here.

It simply seems that the person, making potential across his body parts have control over ion pump inside body. Moreover, his pump is so powerful, that not only potential of a few milly ampear, but also the amount of electrical power (Watt) he can generate. But the above movie shows that he can withstand the current passes through him. Therefore, both are different and the person, generating Electricity have more interest than this, from Electrical Engineering point of view. =============================================== However, both are still charming and avoided for normal person. =============================================== |
