Isn't it just a case of the same factory supplying to whomever who is asking for product with their name on it ? We can pretty much bet it is of Chinese origin.

No. It is definately not "Sky Cruiser" as you mentioned above. That plane has a a significantly different motor mount

The plane in question is defiantely a 'Scaled' up version of AXN Floater:

1. Same motor mount.
2. Same Fuse/Bulkhead
3. Same Canopy shape
4. Even the same 'Triangular' Canopy lock in the front.

Everything else suggest AXN heritage than anything else.

Wish this plane version is up for open market.

But watchout folks. EASY Start II is coming very soon:

1. Bigger WS
2. Ailerons
3. Detachable horizontal fins for easy storage and transport
4. BL setup.

Didn't mean it is the exact same design.  But the popularity of this general design and material choice was what I was talking about. 

Seems like Tower somewhat diluted the EasyStar by carrying this one.

MPX products are notch above the Chinese ones...
You wont find a website dedicated to planes like Easy Star and Funjet. Leave aside just Fan clubs..
Ones like Sky Surfer have come close to the laurels, but with V2 products, MPX is again up for higher grounds

+1 , in build, weight, grain, Sky Surfer is good, as good if not better than Easy star, with a BLDC motor, aileron, it is a cut above MPX Easy Star.

 Easy Star II should be better with removable tail and all
