As LiCoO2 price is doubled which is main raw material, now all company in china will be affected and LiCoO2 price will increase in future.

Here the main hero is Cobalt whose price is rising. It is not very abundant material but is mainly used in li-ion batteries. Btw , I think that using different compounds for the battery may affect the performance of the battery.
