Posting 2 videos that have been in cold storage for 3 or 4 years - simply because I didn't want these pilots to get into any trouble for allowing me to videograph these sequences. Lucky me!
I trained the Flight Crew and this is what they repaid me with. Priceless!

So I'm guessing you were on a 'jump seat' sir?

Jump seat used to be my uncle's last resort for emergency travel pre Pvt Airline burst era, before 9/11 changed everything and cockpit view went beyond the reach of even very senior bureaucrats . I have seen really beautiful shots from the cockpits from his camera, few things actually propelled me into love for planes.
You are absolutely right. Even after I was allowed (rather invited by the Commander) to visit the cockpit and record the sequence, I was also requested to return to my seat before the aircraft descended below 10,000 feet. That too as there was a senior bureaucrat travelling on the same flight and the crew didn't want any complications.
I was also lucky enough to witness the security drill that is performed by the cabin attendants if any passenger is allowed entry into the cockpit, while the a/c is in flight. The entire area is barricaded off with food trollies and personnel on guard, for the duration of his stay inside the cockpit.
I guess I was very lucky to have been a part.
Nice. :)
