i bought an FPV monitor today. When i connect the battery I heard a pop sound and then smoke and smell... I think I fried it.
Is there a way to Fix it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

what make and model ?

post detailed high resolution pictures ...

if the forum will not allow posting of high resolution ..then post them
on a image sharing site and give links.

The way i see it is that you plugged in the power with wrong polarity...i did the same to my led display...
The little mosphet located near the power plug fries and needs replacement

Looks like the 'FR9886 step down ic' is blown. Is that power supply input next to the capacitor in 2nd pic?

Ok. This ic 'Fr9886' steps down 5-24v to 3.3v. You can easily find these ic's on ebay.com. If you can modify the circuit, you can use a local step down converter like the ams1117. However the former option is better than the latter.
