I was trying to purchase rc items from hobby king through paypal..So I don't think this is a wrong thread..My bank has banned credit card transactions through paypal as it is not verified by visa..Anyone facing same problem?

recently my bank banned paypal transactions.I've already purchased one time:when i tried some days before for the next purchase,I received this msg.I can't use both my credit and debit card.

Well, I faced the Same problem. I have international debit card and has a visa logo on it. Tried twice but it says "Your card is not varified by visa so, it is declined." I have only this card and without paypal its working nicely. What should I do?

The message which i received  "your card has been refused by your issuer bank".Sumeet,go to ur bank website and check whether any link is available for creating the verified by visa password as my bank has the link.

have u done any online purchase using ur debit card? if the problem is only with paypal,better try another bank's card as i did.

Ya I have used the same card many times with Hobbyking. It is causing problem only with payPal...

then we are on the same track.may i know which bank's card it is?

you need a credit card
or
make a paypal account
add paypal credit into your account via  your credit card...
or ask anyone who has a paypal account to transfer paypal credit into your pay pal account 


You cannot you debit card of any indian bank on paypal gate way
i have tried the debit cards  from the  following banks none of them have worked on paypal gateway

if you have hdfc bank account, you can use the netsafe card(virtual credit card) to make payments through paypal.

Have you used it with paypal recently? After new restrictions from RBI, I suppose one cannot use debit card with paypal. please correct me if I am wrong.
Also if you are using it with paypal then is it visa card or mastercard?

yes i have used the card 1 month back. after rbi restriction.
i used a mastercard VCC. VCC is valid for only one day and one transaction so you cannot add it to paypal for making payment,but at the time of making payment,when paypal asking for fund source you can enter the vcc details and complete the payment.

No,they will check the information on the credit card against your paypal account details and they will block your paypal account if they find anything suspicious.
but, you may be able to do a few transactions before they block your account.

Ask your friend to order the goods using his credit card and give your address as the shipping address. And ask your friend how much it cost him and pay the amount to him with a thanks. Very simple.

Hi I have been using HDFC netsafe cards for all my purchases till date successfully through paypal. However recently when Gusty requested me to buy a 14 channel receiver won in his ebay ID with my paypal account, all hell has broken loose for me. Firstly my Paypal account got restricted. However after verification process, restriction of my paypal account has been lifted and shows no restriction whatsoever but I am unable to complete transaction. Firstly it was not allowing me to choose a desired card to make payment in the payment window. It was always defaulting to one old card number.

Now it is totally rejecting all credit cards and asking me to add a new bank account number when it is already linked and verified with one HDFC number.

Surprisingly this is happening to my second paypal account linked to another HDFC account also now. Only both HDFC account are linked to same customer ID. And both paypal with same PAN

Any ideas as to where the problem lies since customer service paypal has still not responded to my query since they have not grasped the problem.

Mine was almost same problem..When I consulted with my bank,they told as paypal not linked with verified by visa so they(my bank) blocked temporarily doin txns with paypal..After some months they unblocked n am doin paypal with my credit card..

mine both debit cards are verified by visa payments only. I am sure it is still a security lockup due to attempted transaction in Gusty's ebay ID  which has a different email, registeration address and account name. But after re-verification I am not able get where lies the catch now.

All hell broken loose because I have now about Rs 37000/- locked up as netsafe cards unused registered with paypal which cannot be canceled now and will take more than a month to recredit back in account since unused, unlike a paid/ canceled card which closes in about five days. I have about three verification debits still to be credited back. Received  two unpaid item strike for winning bid on ebay.com which I am resolving with sellers to cancel transaction. :banghead: :banghead:  ???

Both accounts are fully verified with purpose code, PAN, Verified bank account and confirmed credit cards.

sundaram you can not have two paypal account linked to same a/c details. In fact you should have only one unique paypal a/c. They do screening regularly and since you have more than 30k they might have restrict it do further transaction. It doesn't make any sence to them.

No No the account details are two different for both the account, it is not same account. Only HDFC bank cust ID is same for both account. That is not the problem till date. More than 30K is not locked in paypal but in netsafe HDFC credit cards and since each of them have been linked to one of the either paypal account, now it is not possible to cancel them. Though thier validity for transaction is only for a day, card linked but without transaction is going to take 1-2 months to cancel on its own and come back to its HDFC account. Only those cards transacted balance left comes back early since the recepient produces for payment of the transaction.

i don't think as we can deposit or transfer amount to local lhs.

 I have used PayPal for rc dharma ka but it is not preferred as the conversion to dollar and back. It comes out to be costlier.
Rcdhamaka also donot prefer this.

I have tried Using Paypal for RCD but got an error with it. This stated that it could be used only for international transactions and can't be used for payments in India

When I tried,it showed as u r trying to pay inside India and cancelled automatically..

Even I tried using paypal.. But the transaction was rejected... And for some strange reason, I've not been able to add RcDhamaka as beneficiary either - i get an error saying "invalid beneficiary name" inspite of entering their full and correct name.. I even received call over this from RcDhamaka saying this should not happen... Even I'm wondering as to why this is so.. Can someone please tell me what I can do in this situation?
In the mean time, I'll try it again...
