I guess 3D printing will usher in a new era of manufacturing technology. CNC machining centers will be things of the past. Sintering is a process of fusing powders - usually metal - under heat and pressure. Sintered bronze bearings are made with this method. It results in microscopic pores which retain the lubricant.
