How do they put things inside it? If it is completely printed, all materials inside it would have to be printed up as well..

Wonder how it works with metal... :headscratch:

I guess 3D printing will usher in a new era of manufacturing technology. CNC machining centers will be things of the past.

It says "nylon laser sintering". Sintering is a process of fusing powders - usually metal - under heat and pressure. Sintered bronze bearings are made with this method. It results in microscopic pores which retain the lubricant.

Thanks for the answer Sushil sir. Very interesting technology. Seems too simple. Apart from costs, what are the other hurdles in the implementation of this? Probably materials?

hi guys,
fantastic advancement in techo stuff............BUT what about the impact on environment and employment.??
so you package  say, school math instrument........some thing that is already plastic, but can now be made faster and cheaper AT THE SCHOOL   ,.......... where's your job now  ??? ??? ???
