Probably they were exepcting it... I see the net layed down. BTW, this is a perfect example of torque effect. Notice the opposite rotation of the baldes with respect to the rotation of the fuselage. The pilot seems to have taken off when one of the harnesses was not completely removed. Looks like an accident (unexpected event).
