It had been a really long time since Roopeshji had posted sumthing on RCI and also a long time since he had talked to me. So I called him yesterday. He is in a really bad condition. We all know how much selfless services he has done for all of us and how much of his hardgained knowledge he shared wit us without expecting anything from us. I neednt say anything more about such a person...... evrybody knows him and there is no amount of words that can explain the grief I feel as a friend for what he is going through...... I have only met him a few times but he is one of those persons you never forget even after a singe meeting.
Really wanted to tell you all about him.

I wish him a speedy recovery :)

To all the ppl who have some friendship with him especially Augustine sir and all, please force him to take the necessary procedures to get well. I think the doctors have told him to get an operation for his recovery which he refuses. Please members try and tell him to take that procedure or what ever is necessary to get well soon..... other wise it will be a loss of a friend, a great modeler and a awesome person that we will regret later.

Few days back i asked about his health and he sms me he is suffering from kidney failure. all bad thing happens with good peoples only.
wish him a speedy and healthy recovery .

Roopesh Sir is my BIGGEST INSPIRATION :bow: due to whom I learnt to construct a basic boat hull. I had struggled for a whole year to do the same thing.I request GOD to kindly get him back in pink of health. We all want him in perfect health.

Talked to roopeshji after sometime now..... thanx for all your wishes..... He is recovering fast.... :thumbsup: the only problem being he is alone.... would be really nice if ppl around his place could help him out.... getting him his medicines and all once in a while.....

Dear All,

I spoke to Mr Roopesji & understood from him that he lives all alone at present & is bedriden as he suffered a major spinal injury thereby disabling his legs ,he is unable to walk but needs Medicine & foods etc , Due to severe pain in his spin which is almost intolerable ,he is forced to take pain killer which has now effected his kidney.To what I gather & understand from him,he has no source of income .He still wishes to carry on his building hobby & thanks to his close friend Mr Vinod & Mr Augustinev who supports him in time of needs ,He need support of medicine presently.On asking him about the operation,he told me that he was advised to go in for a spinal operation but the Doctor has no given him any kind of Gaurantee & the negative result could be permanent disablity & would be in bed all his life therefore his deceision is a question mark as he has no one to look after him,From a very small age he has lived is life all alone & now in the hour of needs.He is all alone.

Freinds & aeromodellers in & around Kerala,pls try to meet up with Roopeshji,He is not looking for sympathy but freinds & aeromodellers.He has touched my heart .   

I've decided to re-charge is mobile so he is in communication  to his loved one  & also  re-charge his internet so he is back on the forum.

So Dear,how can  we all support our dear Freind ?

I think its our time to act  & support him,in his trouble time  .

It looks like he needs both moral and financial help.

Isn't there anyone in direct touch with him? What about the guys (some government organisation) he was making all these models for?  Can they not be of help?

On the financial front,  we could, maybe, put together a fund with contributions from members? Anwar, how could we do this practically?

i spoke to him as well, he is not in the pink of his health, does he require help ? or is based on on some assumptions that he requires help. he may not want monetary help. did anyone discuss this aspect. AFAIK, he has an ansceral property, produce from the land is available. if someone knows kerala, cash crops in a very small peice of land suffices. i only hope by this effort he shouldn't feel offended or feel belittled. my 2c bit

Again I spoke to him today,Its very saddning that the Navy is offering him model to build but Mr Roopeshji is unable to take those order as he cant get out of bed . rcpilotacro-This  answer your question of giving him orders for making models but your tought of helping is noble & Godless you & your family.

I could feel & understand from his tone that he want to help our Navy & also Aeromodellers in building model for us & prays that he is able to stand up on his feet but health does not permit.

The success of operation chances are only 20% & one of his close Dr has advised him not to take the chance,which is right,He may get permanently disabled to bed if the operation fails.

So Guy ,Keep him in your prays as said by him A miracle can save him & get him back on track.

There is no direct support to him as he lives in a remote village .

Thanks for your prays & received your PM ,He is recoverying very slowly but for know ,Mr Madhavan/Mr Pratheesh  /Mr Augustinev & self are in touch with him.

Mr Madhavan & self are trying other various solution to keep him occupied,once something is fixed will let you'll know the out come.

Spoke to Mr Roopeshji as on yesterday & he is still in Bed & was to met his Doctor later evening,let pray for his speedy recovery.

Good evening all respected Seniors, Modellers Colleagues.. a million thanks for the prayer, care for me, and happiest moment to back here again.. and thanking once again to Vonidettan, who took me out of bed, gave me ample of inspiration, excitement from modeling, and to one of my school mate, Adv: Babitha, for a set of brushes, and paint, and to rearranging my internet connection back.. as the reward of the reinstallation and service of her's laptop.. and once again, all of respected Elders and my Friends.. million thanks.. and now i realizes that i have a lots of things in modelling to do, and time span is short..so, learning to walk again.. from zero.. i am building up my confidence myself to back in my modeling works with my presesnt state of health.. i will be back with my works.. You may wonder why I say so much, so, this comes from a lot of experiences in my own life where I felt that missing reciprocation from people in general was worthy of hatred. However, you have restored my faith in continuing to go the extra mile for a mere smile.
