hi

i used to go for flying alone and when i reach the field people start gather around me till the time i prepare for flying everybody surround me make me uncomfortable to fly the model

i am not concern about the people around me i want nobody get injured  or my airplane stay out of the range of people come to see me flying

even i fly with seniors here i find the same situation we fly outside the town and village kids and people start gather around us

the strange thing happen when  a person come in the range of  t line airplane it could hit that person
he want to see the airplane close view

what i do

because i fly alone

i used to hand launch the airplane at the empty part of the field

second thing i do i climb the airplane to max height where i find myself comfortable to fly

third thing when i approach for landing i see the empty part of the field  i land the airplane there

i switch of the transmitter and run towards the airplane to secure it.

I hope you know this but if not, It's always suggested to turn the Rx off before turning the Tx off. You should also have a failsafe setup in the event that you turn the Tx off accidentally. Also, once you have the failsafe setup, follow the same procedure. A friend of mine burnt up his throttle servo (on a nitro car) since he turned the Tx off and the Rx went into failsafe.

I second about the fail safe , fail safe is an important piece of equipment if you are flying a nitro . Many programable radio's have the fail safe option but if your does not have that please get one , if you get out of the range or as the person above me said accidentally switch of your radio the fail safe will reset your throttle servo .
The setup of fail safe is easy as well it sits between the line between your throttle servo and receiver

Have a dedicated buddy or a local guy to manage bystanders. This is a must. Keep all of them in one place at the side. Being timid will not help. You have to exert some authority. Soon, someone among the bystanders will start policing others  Giggle
