Greetings,

Just had a very nice experience, so wanted to share with RCindians. I was buying a few things online, for a quadcopter and a RC car. Now, I ordered a set of brushed ESC's and a set of brushless motors alongwith some other items from Robu. within minutes of placing the order, I got a call from them asking if I had ordered brushed ESC and brushless motor by mistake. I told them it was intentional.
I am very happy and amazed by this kind of customer service. I mean, they could have simply sent me the items I paid for without having a second thought. But they choose to help me before I make a novice mistake. I forgot to say thanks in the call, so "Thanks a ton" Mr. Jayesh. I hope the standard of service is always maintained like this.

Long live robu and all other LHS who are helping hobbyists.

I've had good experience with robu too...good guys working there...
Except I wish they made their courier brackets more flexible..
I mean I had motors shipped from rcdhamaka (Bangalore- to nashik) for just 50 bucks.
But robu charges 100 rupees from pune to nashik for a prop adapter...
I didn't quite understand coz both had speed post as selected option...

But other than that minor hiccup..excellent service.👍

Thanks depanjan for nice words, kind words like yours keeps us driving.

We have a SLA of 24hours for all our orders. You try mailing us on info@robu.in. Our system will automatically open a case about your query, and you can track it's status. Our team has to start working on it within 24hours, otherwise it automatically gets escalated. Post delivery corrections cost us more. It saves us lot of money and efforts to proactively resolve issues, even before customer gets know about it. We have a system in place which notifies us about possible order issue, our system even tracks all orders shipped and highlights stuck shipments. There are still lot of gaps in our system but we are hopeful in next few months most of our customers won't even get to know if there was any issue with their shipment.

@imperial fire: We charge flat Rs.100 for standard and Rs.200 for express shipping irrespective of order value and weight. and we also offer free shipping for order value above Rs.2000. This simplifies our shipping structure.
We are planing to come up with new shipping plans of Rs.20 and Rs.50 for certain types of orders. I hope that will solve your shipping charge query.
