I agree With You. I really Like India Post and  I Love Indian Postal History. I Would Like to Tell everyone That Indian Postal System Is The Biggest Network In India. The Couriers Companies May also would not have Covered That Much Pincodes but India Post Have Covered. And I really loves Post Office Specially The Ones Which Are small And Cute.
And Indian Postal History You know Their Collectibles are One Of the Best In The World.We Send Any Letter Or parcel To Someone At Very Low Prices That's The best thing !!!! . And Nowdays System is Really Getting advanced as soon as The Parcel is Delivered We Get a message after 3 to 4 hours. The Message gets Is received by the sender as well as the Receiver Too. That's A Really Good Effort and Service By Indian Post .

I will surely convey the messages to mom. People usually think about snail mail when they say IndiaPost, that's the problem I guess?

What bloody site is this ? I wanted to track the status of regd post sent on 25th July. But no provision is given to feed Regd No and to get result.

I use Speedpost for everything i get/send. More than satisfied.
Don't know about Regd Post, but Speedpost allows me to track.
And recently they have started giving delivery notification by sms. Wonderful!

I often go to my local post office. Their workload is enormous.
Despite email, sms, whatsapp etc, you can't believe the amount of traditional mail and parcels.
And their working conditions are quite sad.

I do feel a sense of gratitude to India Post!

Usually Aliexpress parcel takes almost 30 to 45days. Once it landed to Kolkata Post i might take 20 to 30 days to reach your place. Kolkata Foreign Post is damn slow
