Title: Urgent Help! My transmitter is retained by kolkata custom !
Post by: ANUJ300 on August 27, 2017, 01:07:49 PM
one month ago i ordered Tranis QX7(actual value-$110) at $94 from banggood.
Yesterday I got notice from customs for submit N.O.C./Import licence from WPC. And i have no import licence.IN notice declaring value is $21.97. Now what i have to do? I have 10 days to send import licence.otherwise they will return it or destroy.
I am planning to send an item invoice with a begging letter,to show it as for personal use.

What should i do? Please it is urgent.

Why did you not check before ordering?
Transmitters do not clear customs. Period.
Ask them to return it back.

Last time i ordered transmitter(Flysky fs-TH9X) in January 2017,that time transmitter arrived to me without any problem.I thought rules are same in these days :banghead:
I want to clear,is it strictly banned. Or any methods to clear it from customs?
And what is the rule to clearance for 2.4Ghz transmitter.

Actually I sent a letter enclosed with documents 1. Personal invoice 2.Certificate of Examination of equipment (sent by the manufacturer)
Also I wrote in letter-if these document failed to claim transmitter for personal use, please return it back to seller.
Lets see what they will do....
