Hi
i want to know that is use of PDB in the quad mandatory or can be skip? (in LOS quad)

i gone through specs of flight controller and few 4 in 1 ESC. Every FC has a regulator to convert the voltage level. And if we use quad with 4 in 1 ESC then we will get sufficient pads to connect motors.
FC and ESC can handle the input given from battery.
So do we need voltage regulation from PDB as well ?

You have two types of PDBs one is just a simple pdb with 9 positive terminal and 9 negative terminal, this is very basic one all it does is  just supply power from the lipo to all the esc. this type of PDB is used when you have multiple escs.

the other PDB has a inbuilt regulator this all this does is stepdowns your lipo voltage to 5v for other electronics, the functionality is same as simple esc.

if you go with a 4 in 1 esc you dont need a PDB, you can directly connect the lipo onto the esc pad and its good to go,plus it has a inbuilt BEC so you can power the FC and also other items that take 5v.

but if you plan on using individual ESC then you definitely need to use a PDB with inbuilt power regulators
