With due respect, i disagree. I think its a genuine video. There are several airports where the approach is crazy.
Added to that, there is a heavy crosswind ( notice the crab at the time of touch down ) .
Kai-Tak approaches were a delight to watch. How i miss the Kai-tak every time my plane lands in HK. The plane, on its final turn went so close to the buildings that you could almost feel that they were on the same height as you were !

Interlaken Instrument approach, Telluride approach, Quito approach are other famous difficult landings. Never been there, but love to fly them on my simulator.

Oh how i wish to have been a pilot !

Ain't the runway to short for that 757 ? specially to land at higher altitudes?  Really a tight landing as much as the approach and horror to the passenger on the window being on the knife edge while the plane bank so, so near to the ground!!

Here is the article on the airport with that very  same Video :

http://is.gd/4YzR0

quote :
Toncontín International Airport, located 6 km (3.72 miles) from downtown Tegucigalpa, Honduras, has long been considered to be one of the most difficult, dangerous landings for any large commercial airliner thanks in part to its unusual mountainous location. Add to that an extremely short runway (runway 02), one of the world's shortest, that's merely 6,112 feet in length (LAX features roughly 3,000 additional feet for large aircraft) and you've got a recipe for armrest-death-gripping, butt-clenching, nervous excitement.

This airport must be having a record for near misses  Shocked Shocked Shocked I would rather walk than fly into such an airport :

look out for the point of touch down Shocked Shocked

Point of touchdown was not as far as it seems. Its an optical illusion. The plane landed at 1/3 rd of the runway. Count the stripes if you dont believe me. If the total runway length is 6,112 then the plane still had 4000 ft remaining, which is sufficient to stop a Boeing 737
Good video !

I don't quite agree on the Video check out the yellow  boxes kind of things on the side of the runway with a yellow line perpendicular to the runway  and  you will see the touch down is around the third one  and he has just 2 of these markers  left before reaching the taxi way .
I don't know much about these things  so I might be wrong and you right  Huh?

that airport is perfectly safe. what we see from the ground is not what the pilots see. they have more than adequate clearance for the plane to takeoff and land. and once locked to an ILS the pilot has to simply fly her down.

but i too enjoyed the video.
