Post by: abhi#01 on June 18, 2021, 08:19:34 PM I have been imposed a penalty of ₹5000 by Kolkata Customs for importing drone . I am just 15 years old! So it is huge amount for me and I don't have that amount of money to pay. So what will happen if I don't pay the penalty and ignore it?

And the drone was a nano drone and actually it was a toy!

If you don't pay it now then later another officer will come through transfer and he will re-open the old unsettle case and you will get another letter but with increased amount which could reach upto 5 Lacs rupees.
