I am from Ranchi, I built an ft flyer using the following electronics.
1.A2212 1000kV motor
2.30A ESC
3. 1045 prop
4.1000 mAh 2 cell battery
On less than half throttle the plane moves much faster than a Chinese RC car. I did not fly it as it's windy. I did not weigh it too .
Please help. Smiley

Your battery is 2x the normal for ft flyer
your motor is 1000 kv, i.e less kv than recommended.
Now the above two things are balanced, so i'd say it will fly (not sure about it, im beginner in aircrafts).

That prop you are using may get damaged on hard landings.
go with 9x3.8 i think.

 Hats Off

Since it is a 1000 kV , you could go for 1060 or 9060 , but 1040 works fine too , your battery is 2s so I cannot be too sure about flight time and may get a very low flight time , and the thrust too will be low.but it will fly when you give it a good throw in launching. If all of the above mentioned factors are great, then the only thing you should worry about is its cg , cg makes planes unflyable , correct your cg and don't go too nose heavy as the thrust is a bit but never ever go tail heavy.

One step at a time :)

When I built the Ft flyer, I had a 1000 kv motor on it as well. I used a 3S battery and it was awesome. (8x4 prop)
You will be fine with the 2S battery. Use a 9x3.8/4 prop. It will fly just fine. 1045 is an overkill for the little plane.
Regards.

Well, if you don't know what the O/p is talking about, then making comments is not good.
Had the O/p followed your advice he could have suffered some loss by using a 1045 on a 2S battery.
Please research before commenting anywhere. Before I even write a line on the forum, I make sure what I write is correct because I don't want to cause any damage. Maybe you should be careful as well.
