Hello, guys, my name is Kalyan i bought a zippy 8000mah 30c battery from Mr.parichya Gautam in our forum. He seems to be a good man. he is, I bought many things from him like flight controllers, chargers, etc..he told me he is selling that things with almost zero profit. but he is not. all the items were working good except the battery. he told me its already puffed but I can use it. at that time i didn't used or tested any puffed batteries. when I received the battery it seems too puffed.. but I used it I don't know what happened but i can't get my quad in the air... with that battery. so I bought a new one and flew it. I asked mr.gautam about returning the battery or getting a good battery instead of that.. he kept telling me that battery is good...after some time. I was too frustrated and asked him what he can do regarding this.. he tried to sell another old custom 4s lipo battery for 1000 rupees.. so i tried to sell that battery in our forum ... members like sahil007 advised me not to sell that battery because of its price and puff ... but i was an idiot who bought this battery for RS:3000 from him he sold everything like this and kept telling he helped me selling everything low price.

Forum members and forum heroes please help me with this I am not ready to lose 3000 rupees .. and being such an idiot for rupees 3000 i would have got a good battery from LHS .. Ia.m not talking about other products he sold me. because they are working as expected.
So please be aware don't buy any old batteries or any puffed batteries. you are risking many lives including you and your family.

I am not taking sides here, but if he told you it was puffed before the sale, it is your mistake for buying it. You should have consulted a senior member before making the purchase.

Y for 3000... Here how they treat someone who doesn't know about batteries?..Now I realized everything and checked that battery it's not working like 8000 mah it's like 2500 mah.... I told him about this from the starting but he kept telling "keep it it'll work well" so this is not fair...

I agree that he has wronged you and that he should at least give you your money back. Selling a puffed battery to a beginner can certainly be considered cheating. Ask him if he can give you part of your money back (if not all).

If he doesn't agree, leave a negative feedback on his profile. Sadly, that's all you can do then. At least now everyone here knows not to deal with this guy.

Do not buy the custom cell 4s 5000mah. Never buy second-hand batteries even if they are not puffed.

Mr.Swapnil thanks for understanding me. I now I can perfectly make a quad. He gave me some items ..That is working fine till now . But apart form that this battery thing is so bothering me. I asked him nicely but he told "kalyan iam helping you now. if this happens to any other I will block him" . This is so frustrating. Iam telling this to him since I received the battery but . He kept telling .. keep it ..Keep it. I've seen so many kind persons in rcindia and this is the correct time to mention them

Hey Kalyan, and other people here. Oh Kalyan after all i did for you, we just had a chat yesterday and it seems that you are resorting to public outcry, its fine, your wish.

To the other guys hearing his side of the story, well some quick facts here:

1. LiPo purchased in the month of FEB, Issue raised after 3 months! After me properly informing him, approx 15 flights used, slightly puffed but no major impact on flight whatsoever. I personally used the lipo on my quad with 1.8AUW and still got a flight time of about 11mins. I gave the same to you. ALSO, as per your needs, i did tell you to get a new lipo if you need it from proper long term purpose, you said that you just needed it for a project not for continuous flying also you were on VERY Tight budget. Accordingly, i offered the lipo.

2. First, i sent you lipo charger where you assumed i would send you the adaptor too along with it without any extra cost. Despite all the miscommunication and seeing and believing in your ' I cant afford it but i want it all ' state, i sent you the charger adaptor and other accessories in a separate shipment. MIND YOU, i didnt even ask for the shipping cost despite it all being sent by DTDC.

3.Regarding the 'Blocking Issue' i dont know what you are trying to prove here, i know you are a beginner and need the help. I remember the way i was when i got in the hobby. You bringing up the issue 3 months after the purchase, had it been some other who would have pestered me the way you did, i wouldn't have paid much heed, despite that i kept helping you out even offered help on the products and system setup. You didnt ask for any help is a different issue.

4. You offered to send the lipo back with you willing to pay for the shipping, im clearing all my RC Stock, taking it back AFTER 3 Months is of no sense to me. I offered you to keep the lipo and ill send the 4s Lipo i have to you for jst 1k inclusive of the shipping. I dont know what else you do you want. I had told you once you got the delivery of the lipo if you had told about the issue then and there and not months later i would have taken it back, but now, please i dont like your sense of humor.

I'm not trying to prove anything here, still the same guy willing to help people trying to get products for low prices helping others in need. But after meeting guys like Kshtij , Subhash and now you. God help me.

I knew there was another side to the story!

I am going to suggest you to let it go. Financial losses are common for beginners (in one way or another) and it's better to move on and learn from your mistakes.

After reading your side of the story I'm reminded of the many times these things have happened between local hobby shops and beginners. When dealing with newbies remember to explain them the condition of your products and your return policy. Also, save all the text messages involved.

I hope you don't let such transactions bother you and I hope you keep being the 'guy willing to help people trying to get products for low prices'.  :)

@kalyan...dude u can't use something for 3 !months and then complain that its not working. He warned u that it was a puffed battery...it worked for 3 months and then died...nothing surprising.
I suggest you ignore the loss. Get a new battery and cheer up. A lot of good stuff awaits you in this hobby.
Also when u raise a complaint please explain both sides of the story. Avoid being one sided. Coz the next time u cry wolf ...u won't be heard.

@parichya... Keep up that patience..I usually lose my head if someone whom I am genuinely trying to cooperate with talks incorrect things about me . 👍💪

Also kalyan open that battery up..maybe one of its cells is working ..check voltage of each of em..try to charge em as nicd  or some other battery...
I have been able to revive a puffed battery after a month by charging it at 10 volts ( for short time )instead of 4.2 volts...
If any cell is really dead . get goggles and a mask....and a cutter and open it up ( it won't catch fire if it has no charge) and make a video..see what's inside..see how its made...share that video on YouTube ,. Enjoy this hobby dude...👍

It's risky and usually not worth the effort.
Investigating the battery innards is only if you are researching into lipos.
No need for a hobbyist whose main objective is to fly his plane/quad.

Lipo fire is very dangerous.It will kill the lipo.so take care of doing such things.It will prove dangerous for a beginner to open lipo batteries.

@parichya and other guys.. please realize the fact Mr.parichya said he helped me and sent many products for free. No after receiving the products I realized that everyproduct has its price. Mr.parichya so please don't say you gave everything free and about shipping I paid for everything. Guys I brought this battery for 3000 could anyone buy this puffed bomb for 3000 reply?

2. Mr.parichya is lying iam telling this issue to him the moment that I bought from him. Guys I can agree that in RC we can have losses . But not like this. For 3000 I could have bought a good battery from any LHS. note his 4th point he is even trying to sell his 4cell old lipo to me for Rs.1000 tell me everyone is this fair? I can be a amateur flyer compared to you Mr.parichya please don't think iam a dunace.

3.see he mentioned the flight time here. What I actually asked him was that "I want a large lipo for my quad which gives me flight time about 20mins." He told me he have a lipo that's slightly puffed and that will give me 20mins. But when I received the battery. But when I received the battery it's is too puffed. I asked him about this throughout this 3 months but he didn't replied me correctly.

4. I didn't even flyed with this battery.Guys Rs.3000 can be a small amount for someone but not for me iam a college student.
Without a battery I stopped my hobby for now. I fear it could be permanent. Iam not a first person complaining about this forum hero. I saw few complaints raised like this on him.

This Young Man Had Been Playing with his Off road truck, using a "Puffed" Lipo Battery. After he Ran it, He went to charge it again & THIS Was the Result. Thank you so much for sharing this. Beginners often ignore these warnings because of their excitement and impatience. Hope this will encourage everyone to use caution while handling LiPo batteries.

Between uses I store my LiPo batteries in a separate small refrigerator to prolong their life.

Welcome bro..

I always keep in Lipo safe bags while storage or charging. Its worth investing.  It cant stop the explosion in case, but can reduce the impacts.

No thank you for sharing  this post.  But admins please see this issue and I think rc India will help me fixing to this issue.   Please  take appropriate  action on Mr.parichya for selling  me a puffed battery for 3000 or please tell him to give me correct  battery  for the price given.

If you have proofs like whatsapp conversations which show that you have reported the issue to Mr.Parichya from date of buying from him then post them here. Taking Mr. Parichya's words into consideration you reported the problem after using it for couple of months. In order to help you out please post proofs without which no one can help you.

Leave it guys, let me handle it. Kalyan you want public outcry, so be it, let the clarification be public too. As per the resolution you offered, you wanted me to refund you Rs2000 as per your own god knows what deduction you made. Its cool.

Send me your bank details i'll refund you the asked amount.

1. Do not deal with me again. THIS is the fourth time i got bit by a hobbyist all because i was probably too casual and helpful.
2. Who so ever you deal with again, for gods sake listen to him first ! When you call him for advice on the build and If he suggests you get a new LiPo, DONT GO CHEAP and buy Functional-but-Puffed LiPo instead of a new one and later cry in public.
3.IT IS A COSTLY HOBBY, YOU CANT MAKE A QUADROTOR WITH 20MINS FLIGHT TIME in 20k BUDGET WITH HIGH THRUST CAPACITY.
4. DONT be so thankless, when paying for MAX B6 Charger at 1400 YOU DONT EXPECT TO GET THE CHARGING ADAPTOR TOO! If the person sends you the adaptor and later AA battery charger at throwaway price and that too without charging you for the shipping via DTDC since you were in a hurry- SHOW Some gratitude.

Send you bank details, i'll send the money back.

That's very nice of you. Someone else wouldn't even have considered giving a refund after such a long time.

I rarely sell to beginners on this forum for this very reason even if they offer a higher price.

I started off with the motive of helping newbies - but i do face bad apples like Kalyan ( Kshtij was another mess lost almost 7k to him, the there was this avadhut... god ..). Initially, he said that all he needs is a new battery, and was willing to ship the 8000 one back. I said that there is no need to ship it back as the to and fro shipping alone would take up quite an amount. i offered to give my 5200 custom cell lipo at just 1k shipped thinking at least that will get him sorted out.

He refused to that too.

And that's when i realized he is trying to act smart and i just let him be. Then the threatening of going to the forum and complaining started, et all - Rest we all know how it is.

So yea. Bad Apple. Can't help it. I'm done helping him.

This incident can at least be an example to people dealing with newcomers.

Rest well, chuck it - Karma will have its way :)

@parichyagautham  sir, don't act to clever .. if you are a good person or a helping person why don't you recommend me to buy a new battery...And I didn't got everything from you. My quad costs Rs.40000 not 20k.  A buyer have the rights to ask the seller if he founds any defect on the product. I know RC hobby is a costly hobby. But that doesn't mean money is just paper okay? . And one more thing I am not a newbie I am into RC for 2 years. But not into diy I flyed phantoms and rtf quads. So don't underestimate others. Lets end this. Thank very much for the other items you gave me. Other things working very well yeah I am sure I am not gonna deal with you anymore. Refund me as you told to my bank account I pmed you bank details.

In any case, neither of you have posted any proof of text conversations involved. But, it was you who started this thread slandering Parichya without showing any proof for his alleged 'cheating'.

Now kalyan sir you have already said your story and parichya said that he will refund. Now we cannot judge who was wrong as no one has posted any proof of conversation. However it is completely your responsibility to provide any proofs since this is your claim. However you have not provided any but since parichya has already said about refund so let it go. As swapnil ji said people with experience are very much aware of puffed batteries but you need not as you have flown dji and their batteries are not much prone to this problem. However lets close this topic.
Finally if you have proofs of any conversation provide them here else its still fine. BTW i am neutral. I don't know any of you.
