Hi Chintal,

I am interested in buying 3 Qty of Gens ace 5000mAh 7.4V 50C 2S1P HardCase Lipo 10#(EFRA approved).

Are these new stock? I don't want to end up with old stock LIPOs which are not working up to specification. I have had a bad experience with one out of two Turnigy 4S 5000Mah 20C Hardcase Pack which had a defective cell on arrival & was not cost effective to send back to China for replacement.

I am happy to see that the prices (After 10% Disc) appear to be competitive at an international level. I need this specifically for a new HK Princess Boat for which I plan to upgrade motor to 6S. Normally Boats are very high Amp Draw, hence interested in a good Brand LIPO with high discharge rate.

They are the best lipos

I was about to order a couple of them. But the connectors of some are apparently not XT60. Any workaround?

Well...I don't want to do that. The last time I did that in my APM based quad, the XT60 connector plastic melted and the pin moved ahead. I am using my quad like that but am no longer confident of soldering an XT60 connector. The quality of connectors (at least the ones I purchased) are not up to the mark, I must say. I was thinking about a XT60 to whatever-connector-on-battery converter Smiley

Just confirm what connector it is. Some Gens ace use deans/T- connectors while others use 4mm HXT or banana connectors. So be careful before buying the adapter.

Hi Chintal,

That's quite interesting. But it opens more questions. My assumption was that you are importing these LIPOs. If they are made to order, then how long would be the time taken for delivery in case I order 3 Qty of the 2S 5000Mah 50C Lipos?

No Doubt they are among the best LIPOs out there & are comparable with Turnigy NanoTechs.

You have visited the factory meaning in India? Are they manufactured in India?

Well...I don't want to do that. The last time I did that in my APM based quad, the XT60 connector plastic melted and the pin moved ahead. I am using my quad like that but am no longer confident of soldering an XT60 connector. The quality of connectors (at least the ones I purchased) are not up to the mark, I must say. Hi Santanucus,

Based on my research, the best connectors are Bullet Connectors. Both Deans & XT60 are not designed for High Current Applications. My assumption is that your Quad motors may have been drawing in access of 70 Amps. These connectors are not really designed for very high loads & even 70 Amps constant may be pushing it. The 2S 5000Mah 50C Lipos are designed for 250 Amps Constant discharge (5000 Mah X 50C = 250 Amps Constant). This kind of current will melt down any deans or XT60.

I did the same mistake with my Turnigy 5000Mah 20C hardcase LIPOs. They come with Bullet Connectors as standard & we soldered Deans Connectors on them as my EB4 G3 Buggy accepted Deans. On hindsight, I would rather have changed the Deans on the Buggy to Bullets instead, for a more reliable setup.

1)We import them
2) we have them in stock if you make the payment today they will be shipped tonight
3)they are way better then turnigy  nano tech
4) factory is in china not in India

5) xt60 connectors can be used upto 60amps
If current draw is greater use xt90 for 90 amps max
If even greater use xt150

No connector is good or bad its according to the setup

Imagine a 250 quad with a xt150 connector
Here xt150 will be a bad connector for the 250 quad due excess weight and size

Xt30 is more them enough for a 250 quad
