Here is my second entry for this Sweepstakes. Making Pitts S1 from coro. Plan downloaded from rcgroup.com. Wing = 700 mm Fusage = 600 mm Electronics doesn't decide. Depending on weight of model. Sanjay sir, the ribs are made from 2mm balsa. And use 2mm coro. In first wing, i used double 2mm balsa in middle and in second wing, light weight 12mm aluminium rode. Total weight for two wings with two 9gm servos is 295gm. Not vinyl, I use regular 2 inch sticky tape for colour. See closely. Yes Saurabhbhai i cut same size coro. I put servos in lower wing for Aileron. Here is flying video.. biplane flying very well.... First i used three blade prop. Bur not get enough power. So i changed it and use 11×7 prop. Yes sir, when you first told me that this is Challenging build, i thought it would not. But i realise that this was really challenging build. And now i m very happy to made this. I made little mistaken in lower wing. I used very thin balsa stick. So wing gone little bend while flying. Now i give it stick for supports and make it strong. |
