@KK Iyer sir i was thinking about reinforcing the wing with cf rod under the wing section so that its all rigid.....
attaching an image of how i was thinking it to be placed.....
i have also conveyed this problem to chris sir(demondriver) and he told me for 4.1lbs(1900g) AUW and 55inches(1390mm) wingspan its all good and recently i have measured it to be 1400g without battery and battery is 500g so i thinking it should fly fine and adding a reforcement could make it more rigid...

@devang i gave glued a piece of balsa dowel at one end and magnets underneath plus also will be using wing screws to hold it firmly...

@topalle yeah i have checked it before i bought the EDFs its the basic thing for beginning of a project you need to do some math calculations for a working model....

for these model thrust to weight ratio should be 1:1 or 3:4 and each edf will give 0.9-1.1 kg thrust so easily i can achieve 1:1 ratio...

In the link I gave above, the builder had made an underpowered model so it didn't fly ver well...

@wingmanbunty sir i think the edf which i chose should be sufficient if not i will order new one for better performance but now also i believe it can provide enough thrust to make a scale flying possible...

also being a high wing plane it creates more lift and more stable to winds...

Sorry for delay in response. Been busy at work 12 hrs a day, and Gusty Sir was here yesterday!

I fear that an exposed spar like that would be just like a spoiler for reducing the wing lift.
Much better if you can sink it into the wing surface.

Why the sudden need for a spar?
Were you not going to glass the wing?
If you really need wing strengthening, why not a flat strip of carbon fibre on top and bottom, which will hardly protrude above the surface?
If you don't have CF strip, even FG tape may suffice.

Have you tried to check whether the wing is strong enough (in bending) to support at least 2-3 times the all up weight?

More importantly, it seems to me that on this forum,
there is too much emphasis on the thrust required, and hardly any on the wing loading.
The full size c-17 has a power loading of only 0.4!

Based on the type of model, and the performance expectation, we need to decide if it is going to fly on the wing or on the power.

You would have realised that i belong to the flying on wing school (old school?)
And that i do like models that have a power loading of zero  

See, the power required depends on
The drag and the desired cruise speed.
Which depends on the stall speed.
Which depends on the wing loading!

Which is why whenever i get a query on the forum, the first thing i ask is what is the AUW, what is the wing area, and so what is the wing loading.

(Sometimes i ask what is the cubic loading, but that is another story...)

Am trying to locate the video of a large thermocole jet that took off in less than two fuselage lengths.
Not vertically on power, but horizontally on the wing. Will post when found.

BTW, if Butchery Ground is too small, you need to build a different model. Or go to Bakshi! (We used to go there too, you know!)

@KK Iyer sir thank you for that reply and i too was against the round cf tube it was just for explanation which i borrowed from bixler wing spar...
i am ordering flat cf rod from RCD and other bunch of stuff..
i am also gonna fiberglass the fuse as well as wing and will be doing that after 14th aug as i will be having 3 consecutive holidays from coaching..
i dont think wings can handle 2-3 times of AUW as its too risky for time being i will test it after fiberglassing and flat cf installation...
and sir i dont think the ground in which i will be testing is small...
my brother-in-law has a different field i think which is not allowed to public he will help me through it or otherwise i will go as u suggest near bakshi ka talab their i also have a farm house near which it has lots of open space so i am not worried about that....
any other thing you think i should add for better flying is always welcome...

one question does it require two layer of 18gm/sq.in fiberglassing or one layer will do.. same applies for fuselage
please try to answer it as i am very new to this thing....

My RCTLG balsa wing has only one layer. It is strong enough for high speed catapult launch even without any spar or dihedral braces. Also strong enough to survive hitting an electric pole without even a dent.

Weight addition for about 400sqin was 28gms.
I covered it in 8 separate pieces of 12"x4" each. Larger size may be harder to do.
Initially i needed 5gms of epoxy/hardener mix for each piece, but as i gained experience, i was able to reduce it to 3-4gms.
You will need plastic/thermocole cups and a digital scale to accurately measure such small quantities.

(You still have not told me the expected wing loading  )

I suggest you test the flexibility of the wing after the first layer of fibreglass is cured. If not stiff enough, you can add a second layer to the center one third of the span.
