A fellow flyer, Mr Arun, is building a small bipe, and he is using the elevators of two crashed Calmato 40 planes as the wings of the bipe !    The fuse also is built using scavenged balsa from crashed Calmatos.   And the landing gear gear is from a discarded Wing-Dragon.

It will be electric, and is almost done (the fuse needs to be glued together with epoxy). 

Creativity in re-use of existing stuff 

PS: We had one more Calmato crash today (some one who flew too far and into the sun), so he was joking that this might end up being a tri-plane some day
