I am not weird...Instead i am a bit different....

minimum 30 amp  ...to stay on the safer side use 40 amp..this motor is specifically designed for 64 mm EDF unit..you cannot use normal props for it

First up, a 40Amp ESC should be fine as it has a max current draw of 22.7 Amps (However, please note that is for a 55/64mm ducted fan, not for a prop). I am just using a simple thumb rule here i.e. 1.5 X max amperage of motor = ESC rating. (Champions please comment).

Secondly, can we fit a prop to an EDF motor? That is a question that I wanted to ask for a long long time. Hope the Champs can clarify this as well.

VC sir u can surely use it but the main problem will come with the mounting..plus selecting a prop for such high KV is a bit tricky (atleast for me  Bang Head Bang Head
but i am using 2 heli motor as pusher motors of high rpm
using a 5X3 prop on a 4300KV heli motor

2 amps for this no way,,,minimum 30 is required....will will also get hot after 3mins of running one needs 40amps for aptt performance

VC sir but where will u use this with prop ....better buy an inrunner of the same speed
but if you want a high speed out runner...use a trurnigy typhoon. you can easily convert it into a high speed outrunner. i have done the same

in this esc it clearly says , "Do not use with motors with a Kv of more than 2200rpm/v. Doing so will overload the ESC."
 so can i use this one     http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9299
