Hi ,

I am trying to make a carbon fiber/depron RC Kite. Something like the ones on this site- www.goflykite.com.

This being my first electric project , I have no idea about motor sizes and ratings. I was planning to use brushed cd/dvd motors but these look quite underpowered.
So now im going for brushless motors and esc.

Gurus and gyanis of the forum , could you help me decide what size motor/esc and prop sizes that I should buy.

Any guidance will be appreciated and rewarded with good karma Smiley

Th motor size and esc depend on the AUW you are aiming for. It would be good to make the model first then weigh then go for electronics or first buy electronics then decide what to make Smiley
