Title: Anyone stocking low cost/weight receivers for 72MHz.
Post by: tg on August 21, 2009, 02:40:09 PM
I have one super slim from Hitec - 8 channel. The crystal on it says "72MHz;channel 45". The same on my TX of course. Any idea if I can get another compatible receiver and just plug in the crystal on it. Will it work?

Or do I need to get a separate set of crystals for the receiver and TX if I get a new one?

Are you meaning an additional receiver ?
Is your Tx also Hitec ?
If yes then you might need to look at an original Hitec receiver as my experience with Hitec has been that receivers like GWS, Turborix, Sunip etc which are the cheaper ones don't work with Hitec , I might be wrong though .

Corona synthesized also works with most transmitters including a few Hitec I know of.

The corona Synthesized should work It works on both my JR and Futaba.
It should work on hitec.
If it does not work  we are there don't worry.
