Title: Anyone stocking low cost/weight receivers for 72MHz. Post by: tg on August 21, 2009, 02:40:09 PM I have one super slim from Hitec - 8 channel. The crystal on it says "72MHz;channel 45". The same on my TX of course. Any idea if I can get another compatible receiver and just plug in the crystal on it. Will it work?

Is your Tx also Hitec ? If yes then you might need to look at an original Hitec receiver as my experience with Hitec has been that receivers like GWS, Turborix, Sunip etc which are the cheaper ones don't work with Hitec , I might be wrong though .
