Title: Re: Blu-Baby 24 inch aileron version build log Post by: anwar on October 15, 2009, 06:34:57 PM Isn't it better to use something like cycle spokes to build the landing gear, to conserve weight ?
Title: Re: Blu-Baby 24 inch aileron version build log Post by: Pikle6 on October 16, 2009, 07:25:21 PM hi subbu just make sure the model is upto it you said it right the tremendous power from my motor and the lack of reinforcement on the wing lead to the flex in the wing which ultimately gave way and one wing half just came out well the plane flew well anyways http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__bfthHpnz0 subbu Title: Re: Blu-Baby 24 inch aileron version build log Post by: Pikle6 on October 16, 2009, 08:38:51 PM hey guys i just finished fixing it and it glides as it used to be but i have added another 100gms of reinforcement on the wing and body to handle the pressure and it seems to work

Guess it is a Diwali gift to RC India :) Title: Re: Blu-Baby 24 inch aileron version build log Post by: tg on October 16, 2009, 11:31:47 PM Subbu,
That CF flat strip along the fuse should be placed perpendicular to the length of the fuse so that the fuse will not flex. The way you have placed it there can still be flex of the fuse. The plane looks just like a warbird thats already been shot down several times :D Title: Re: Blu-Baby 24 inch aileron version build log Post by: sahilkit on October 17, 2009, 09:15:08 PM subbu you are a fast builder man
