Post by: prateek13 on September 10, 2010, 11:26:36 PM
hi guys! i have just finished with my first coro build-the CHALLENGER
its name is the challenger because it was a challenge for me to complete the build in only 12 HRS (actually it was only 90% as i was feeling sleepy at 1 in the night :giggle: :o)

so coming back to the topic i thank rci member medecineman1987 :salute: for motivating me to build a plane from coro .

ok this plane is basically an easystar kind of planes platform which has a pusher motor at the back

the materials-
bl 2212/06 motor
dys 30 amp esc
2 small servos 9 gms each
1800mah 20c 11.1v 3s 1p batt pack
kds 2.4 ghz 8x reciever
and of course our beloved coro!(red and yellow colours)

pics are up

today i flew the challanger with some mods!
and guess what happened?
it flew for about a 100 feet and then i cut the throttle and it gently landed in myPOOL :o :( >:( :o ;D
but i was successful to retrieve it without any damage from the middle of the pool with a little water in the battery saving foam and some inside the flutes of the wing and the main body

todays lesson-
"Coro planes can float on water!" :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:
