Hi I have a imax b3 and a 3 s 1000 mah 30C orange lipo, the manual of the lipo says not to charge above 0.5C will the imax b3 supply the same???

Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth
Recheck the manual. If it does indeed says so, contact the supplier (Robu?) as there is a mistake

You should be able to comfortably charge it at 1 A (1C)

Check the IMAX manual, not the lipo manual. Or check with the supplier.

Robu says quite clearly this charger is not recommended for anything except field charging; it seems to me the balancing will not be very accurate, thus impacting the LiPo life

iMax b3 is wrost charger.  Charger is not a balance charger and i charged my lipo few times and only one cells is fully charged and remaining two cells are not fully charged and charger led is changed to green from red which means cells are fully charged but all cells are not fully charged.
Then I tried to balance with TP4056 using USB and USB was connected with my laptop and my laptop instantly turned off when i connect pins of TP4056 module to lipo.I suggest you to purchase a good and balance charger else you will face same problem.
Checking voltage with low voltage Alaram buzzer is a bad thing because i have 3 buzzer and different buzzer showing different voltages of lipo cells and i am getting same voltage of only one cell and other cells is differ from different buzzer.
I suggest you to not to use iMax b3 charger if you can't balance lipo cells.

I have lost more than Rs.1500 in AliExpress fraud. So, anything can be happen
I am not a person who can tell you about cheap balance charger.

I checked the Imax b3 with a multimeter for 3s it showed that the b3 had fluctuating voltage between 4.15 v to 4.23 v in each consecutive pins...
And the whole voltage was about 12.6 v so safe to use??

I have never used a B3, only a B6, but it does appear that this only charges, not balance accurately. I suggest you check the manual. If it is the case, avoid using this except for occasional field charging. If the LiPo's are unbalanced, their life will be greatly reduced

ive used the b3 ...
it does NOT balance correctly... plus takes forever to balance
but it does have an advantage...
you see it charges a battery even if its almost dead.
my original skyrc charger refuses to charge if voltage is too low.   ...so i kinda need both the chargers.

The actual problem arises when a cell drops voltage below 3.2 v cause it can't power any more so there is a improper power supply...
Alas Li-Fe is better when will it be centralised...

To discharge my 4 year old turnigy 2s lipo should I just toss it into salt water...
Are there any laws in India regarding throwing lipo's???

And you can also recover low voltage cell using a good charger

Imax B3 has max output of 0.85A.
Our lipo manual recommends 0.5C. Manual also mentions 1C as standard charging current. In an emergency, you can even go upto 2C easily. It's your choice. 1C is absolutely safe though.

But B3 is not good charger. It reduces battery life. We do not wish to sell it. We even discontinued it for some time. But in turn our battery sales also went down. So we had to start selling it again. But we mentioned this issue on the product page. https://robu.in/product/b3ac-compact-balance-charger-2s-3s-lipo/. (We might be loosing some sales but still it is the hot seller, I can't understand why people still buy it)

You can go for https://robu.in/product/skyrc-e3-ac-2s-3s-li-po-battery-charger-v2-original/. Or b6. My personal favourite is b6 mini. SKYRC chargers quality is good. Bit expensive but keeps your battery healthy. So in long run you save lot of money.

Words of wisdom! Well said Jayesh Bhai. And why people buy it? Because they want cheap, but don't realize that most of the time Cheap = Poor Quality or Lower Specification

Ok!! so i have decided to buy the b6 it costs 2100...
i don't have the guts to ask my dad so i have a 3 year old maestro rock crawler jr. which was gifted to me (Rs.2000).I am thinking to sell it but the problem is that it doesn't work any ideas?? :Huh?:
i also have a hexbug skate park (Rs.1200) gifted again i will sell it somehow...
Anyone has idea how to fix the crawler??
plz help...
it is not moving...
i need to fix it as it will provide a lot maybe enough to buy the b6... Help Me
