Hi,
I am new to RC world. Trying to make my first rc-plane. I have bought FS-CT6B transmitter and receiver apart from ESC 30A and BLDC motor.
I am facing a problem:
1. After connecting to BLDC motor to ESC and ESC to Servo tester, I can calibrate ESC and control the motor after powering the ESC.
2. But if I use FS-CT6B transmitter and receiver and connect the ESC to receiver throttle channel (Channel number 3). I am unable to control the BLDC motor. I am not seeing any signal sent to BLDC, However upon connection it beeps.
3. If I connect servo motor to channel 3 and power the receiver through ESC to any other channel number. I can actually control the servo through throttle stick in the transmitter.

I am bit confused what is going wrong over there.
Whether my ESC or receiver is faulty or any connection issue. Please suggest. I have already spent two days trying to figuring out what is the issue. Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance.

@sanjkuma,

Welcome to the forum.

My initial reaction is this:
Please connect Esc to channel 3, and servos to channels 1,2 and 4.
Check if they respond correctly to input from aileron, elevator and rudder, and post the result.

Tomorrow I’ll try out what you said in point #3.

Sleep easy. Goodnight.

Hi sanjkuma!
Welcome to the forum!

Well looking from what you have mentioned, your parts are working fine. All you need to do is an ESC calibration

Check this video out

It will show you how to calibrate your ESC.

Remember never mount your propeller on the motor if you don't plan on flying!

All the best!

And keep us updated!

Thanks Iyer and Naveed sir for the quick response. I tried exactly the same way it is shown in the video and tried to calibrate. But not successful.
The motor does not beep long as explained in the video when connected through receiver.
However the motor beeps long when connected through Servo tester.

I also tried connecting the servo in the channel 3 and esc 5v output to channel 1 or 2. In this case I can control the servo using the transmitter throttle.

Is my ESC ok?
Is there any issue with my tranmitter and receiver?

Sanjay,
Just had a brainwave.

REVERSE THE THROTTLE CHANNEL ON THE TX, and then caliberate the Esc.
