Title: Coro trainer build log.
Post by: v2 eagle on July 26, 2014, 07:24:12 AM
This is an attempt to recreate a previously built/flown plane looking more like a piper.
I like this plane so much that it flies no matter what, until one crash broke the fuse apart.
This was built with 3mm coro and i suspect this to be weak hence this new one is from 5mm coro.
All dimensions are marked in the coro sheets for any beginner seeking this model.

Power setup is
Emax 2822 motor, 20A hobbywing skywalker ESC, Turnigy 2200mah 3S lipo.
It has only rudder and elevator and no aileron.

All cut and Folded. Applied Hot glue in the edges to make the box shape.
Next is the tail section

Tail cut and pasted using CA. just paste the two vertical walls together with V Stab inbetween. and stick the H Stab in the bottom floor. then glue both the H Stab and V Stab using Hot glue.

All done,
the wing at the last is my 2M glider wing.
Not for this plane. will update the wing section sooner.

Nice ashok
A lot of dihederal, will make it stable but little sluggish in turn.
The AUW must be very less, as fuse is Perforated.
