The removable tail is a very good feature... I would definitely get one. This has a leg up on the Bixlers and AXNs. Remove the tail, put in the backpack, hike to the cliff and enjoy the thermal-powered flight...nothing could be better than Easy Star stability, spiced up with Ailerons, better power system and removable tail.
