Title: FA-18 Super Hornet tomhe plans
Post by: rcpilotacro on November 14, 2011, 07:49:58 AM
Sravan came over , to take a break from my Giles 202 with JBA 15 CC gas engine project, printed, made template, cut and made FA-18 Super Hornet from Tomhe Plans (http://rc.tomhe.net/fa-18) , the idea to make one was mooted by Sandy (Sundaram Velar)

all this was 3 hr effort, two simultaneous cuttings, self & Sravan.

Maiden today

Foams From Foamybuilder (Ashok NG)

Thanks Ashok ,
how you got it shipped from Bangalore ? Foam is hard to transport even within city!!

Great looking build, indecently even Ashok brought a FA-18 hornet made of yellow coro.

The FA-18 which i brought that day was built with foam not with yellow coro :)

CG 5.6 Inch from the base of the fin, that is about 1/2 inch from where the wing changes sweep. i launched her with neutral controls and she flew like a charm, not even once i had to trim. putting up video
