Hi friends . I always admired the birds, and from my childhood days i had a dream to fly and make something that atleast lift itself up. But lack of knowledge always let me down. My luck made me attached RC India. I got all my raw knowledge here itself.  Before a month or two, i didnt knew the meaning of brushless, ESC, transmitters, servos etc.( due to lack of knowledge of my transmitter battery , i thought my brushless is dead, and almost throw it but pulling all its wires Wink) 15 days back i tried to rebuilt it, and it worked fine with more than 3500 rpm. Smiley
                                                               Today i tried to make my first high wing trainer with dense foam which is used by architects for making models of buildings and bridges. the sheet cost me 100 rs for 1meter x 0.8mt and thickness is 5mm . I bought 2 sheets and glued on one another . I take a plan from net and start building it , after many hours it was ready . Today i flew it , but due to my untrained skills(  no simulator ) it hit nose down 4,5 times , but still survived. Here are some pics of my high wing trainer.

Swizera, to start with, I dunno which plan u looked at, your tailplane is too small, it won't have the enough elevator power, your wing is course cut, Which means it is not likely to be balanced, the foam you have used is too thick for the motor, did it get airborne? Or just did hop skip and jump? The reinforcement ? What is it? Looks like a metal thing to me. Try and use CF, there are some serious flaws in the make, you need to correct those in the next build, please read up more, here in the forum, any questions/ assistance please feel free to ask

Augustin Sir, thanks for the reply.

1) yes sir i also thought about tailplane while implementing the plans, but the video of that plan shows nice flying with same tailplane.
2) The foam is thick , but it is light weight .
3) It got airbone but for 20 25 meters only.
4) The reinforce used is light weight Aluminium hollow rod.

i have checked the CG with putting my fingers under 2/3 portion of wing, it seems correct.
sir should i make big tailplane ?  any others suggestions from senior members also plz ....

I have checked the CG with putting my fingers under 2/3 portion of wing, it seems correct.

3. What happened during  the "20 - 25 meters"?

2/3 from the rear or front? Should be (app.) 1/3 from the leading edge (if the wing is not tapered).

Swizera don't be under the illusion that this aeroplane flew , it didn't, that 20-30 mts it just got blown away, flying is a controlled condition, in a three channel config, (that is if you don't have an aileron) you need to connect rudder to aileron channel and not to rudder channel (Like you have done). how will you fly otherwise, ? need to route the wires properly too, that's why i told you to read up more, and ask for guidance if you require it, we are here to help

Sir i dont no what channel no is for what  ? but i have connected my throttle to chanell no 3. tail to channel no 2 and elevator to channel no 4.      My tail, rudder,throttle  all working well.
Particularly i want to know what does HOVER.pit and TRIM pit  Means. I have attach pics of my radio.  My radio is 6 ch E-sky.

1,2,3,4 AETR (Aileron, Elevator, Throttle & Rudder) if you are using only three channel then rudder to channel one, because you will induce roll with yaw, it is the tilted lift vector that turns the airplane , unlike what we think like a ship the rudder turns the aircraft.

Forget about Hov Pit & Pit for a while, may be, you need to know is D/R and Expo

D/R , Dual rate, :- with a switch you can reduce increase the throw on the Fly.
Expo, exponential :- Non Linear Stick to Control Gearing Ratio

That was in a nutshell, pick up any manual of any Futaba Spektrum radio and read,

Thanku sir , but the reason i was asking was because , prier every time i try to flew my plane , my HOV and TRIM  were on full , may this be the reason of all my initial crash ?
