I love seaplanes.
Looks like a great technology being wasted.

Any way have never flown both.   Grin

Human mind is like a parachute, works when open

hi,

i have flown the TT ready 40 on floats. the experience is totally different. for electric models its easy but engine power models its difficult if engine cuts during taxing. you have to wait for the winds to push it to shore.

also deadstick landings on the water are quite hair raising. you never know where you will land. it all depends on the size of the pond and lake.

we flew at a dam site , plenty of open space. see pics.
