Title: Help! what size motor/esc should i buy for an RC Kite Post by: viksi on April 15, 2011, 01:48:52 AM Hi ,
I am trying to make a carbon fiber/depron RC Kite. Something like the ones on this site- www.goflykite.com. This being my first electric project , I have no idea about motor sizes and ratings. I was planning to use brushed cd/dvd motors but these look quite underpowered. So now im going for brushless motors and esc. Gurus and gyanis of the forum , could you help me decide what size motor/esc and prop sizes that I should buy. It would be good to make the model first then weigh then go for electronics or first buy electronics then decide what to make :)
