try out models available on flitetest.com, specifically, i don't remember the names but few days back was searching something for myself so saw numerous scratch build foamies. Already, you have a FT22 from it.

I am not weird...Instead i am a bit different....

A basic flying wing utilizes only 3 channels is it necessary to use the  other channels

Have a look....

http://www.rcindia.org/for-sale/wing-core-made-of-high-density-thermacol/msg162023/#msg162023

You have the perfect combo ... a 40 Inch wing from above and the electronics you already have. You need to change one thing ... a high KV motor ... Approx  - 2200KV. look for a motor on HK  prop = 5x3.    > 300 Grm thrust is good enough for a 36 inch Wing.

a 1000mah battery can give >20min flight times..... see here

@ Akky I want a rudder , it's not necessary , It would give it more controls and provide more stability

Build a versa wing, put some flaps and landing gear and you will have a flying wing with 5 channels. Grin Grin Grin
Okay, that was just a joke, add some differential brake rudder system in a Versa wing if you need rudder action.
You can add rudder to coro towel from makezine.com

Why do you want to add extra servos. Yeah... you could go for differential ruder mechanism. Also, you can add flaps to your wing for much more stable flight.

@ v2 eagle and Utkharshg I know about all that differential , but I want a basic rudder system , which will help me to mod it like I want for it , I can do delta , normal or ellvon  mixing just from it . I will also be able to pull some tuff stunts that usually not able to be done from wing ex knife edge , btw I was thinking about changing the versa wing's design a little so that I can put 2 rudders on it , what do you say about that ?

Take this:
http://makezine.com/projects/make-30/the-towel-rc-stunt-plane/

Add rudder in the center beyond the prop so that the prop wash goes with the rudder and gives good yaw effect.
i tried this but havent flew with it yet. but ground test show that the yaw is crisp enough.

You will understand that you will be making one its just the wing core to give you a good start in your scratch building.

Actually it doesnt need a build log as its stupid simple. it takes hardly 1 hour if you have all the components in hand.
my rc dream started with this plane and i still love this plane as it sounds more like a engine stuff with the coroflute making all the sound. gonna upgrade the motor to DT750 as the Emax 2812 doesnt pull much.

Edit: If you are going for coro instead of foam make sure the motor puts around 700gms of thrust, use Hxt900 servos for quick response which wing really needs. ive used tg9, avionics and these servos give sluggish response.

That depends on you AUW. dont buy it now.

Im eyeing on this product now:
http://www.edallhobby.com/product.php?id_product=509
But its price shoot to sky after its popularity from flitetest, gonna order it directly from HK sooner.
