In Thrust, I Trust

I had got a VT-Speedster from Vortex-RC about 2 years ago. Finally decided to build it.
Specs:
Wingspan: 1180mm
AUW: 712g

Electronics:
Battery: 2200mah 3S 25C
ESC: Plush 30A
Motor: Turnigy D2826-10 1400kv
Prop: 7x5

I get a decent 10-15 minutes flight time with the 2200mah battery on this plane.
Cruises around decently at 1/3rd throttle. Lots of power in reserve.

I am planning to get into FPV soon and this should be the perfect plane for that

Decided to not use the provided covering and go with something brighter
Used coloured tape (from stationery shop) to cover the wing.
Later I applied a layer of transparent tape over this layer on the full wing to increase strength of the covering.

Yes, I am using DR. Plane becomes very sensitive at high speed, so have to switch to low rates

The wing is meant to take a 4000mah battery. As I am using 2200mah batteries, had to add 90g of nose weight to balace it out

The wing flies very nice. Cruises around very easily at 1/3rd throttle and enough power for vertical climbs when needed.
I'm getting about 10-12 minutes flight time on a 2200mah battery.
