hi all

maidened it yesterday on our paddy fields, its almost ok after a long monsoon season, and she flew beautifully, on the second flight landad it inverted as the battery was fully down . it was a range test for the sprctrum orange rx,gave good results and am sure that this can be used on the high end models  if u take the risk  ;D pls watch the videos

Nice

Since you are hovering and all now, time to move on to well defined maneuvers, like flat spins etc :)  Hopefully I will get to fly this in Feb !

Sure ;D

What is the power system you used on this one ?

Title: Re: Hyperion snipper x2
Post by: santhosh on January 17, 2011, 11:00:28 AM
motor hyperion zs2213-18 /1024kv, prop 10*5,esc 40amps,battery turnigy 3s 1500 mah 30c. the recommended motor for this is zs3007b-24  can give 400 watts of power.but my set up can produce only about 280 watts with 11*5.5 prop and 3s battery , still no idea why  i ordered this online from aircraftworld.com  :headscratch:

the customs never showed mercy towards me pls read my post "customs order everyone should keep".sniper was brought by my friend from singapore so no customs issues. i ordered the motor for it from www. aircraft-world.com  and paid  :Rs: 615  as duty
