Title: Javelin - high performance wing
Post by: rahulroy31 on June 15, 2021, 06:55:40 PM
A high performance wing. It uses a modern airfoil and construction techniques ..

The specifications and build details are here .. https://myrahulroy.blogspot.com/

Unfortunately after two circuits it suddenly lost radio signal and crashed.. the fuselage broke and would have to be repaired

Happy Flying

Some modifications
1. A wing fence has been added at 400mm from the root cord apex
2. vortex generators have been added upto 380mm from the wing tips

These allow tighter turns at low speeds

You should try slope soaring in this glider near hills like kamshet

Oh my god its sooo good! Been a while since I saw a flying wing with such aspect ratios!
Kudos!
If I had more time I would definitely try to build it myself but oh well
