I was asked to post a link to the plans for the FPV plane. As this link contains photos and video plus all the information needed to build it and what is required in the way of hardware and electronics any further input from me would be superfluous so enjoy your building and most of all enjoy your flying of this unusual but extremely useful plane.

Kind regards  Stu

Please follow the instructions on the plans very closely. Should you have any problems Mikey supplies his email address for assistance, all you have to do is join his site, very simple to do.

Well done Gusty,

You won't be sorry, it's a very versatile and easy to build plane. I have posted a list of what I used but it must be in the wrong place. I'll do an exchange if you like, I'll pay all the freight costs and send you my plane and you pay all the freight costs and send me your Mig (please fill with fuel and ammo before sending and I will include a free tube of glue and a spare prop) I can't be fairer than that, after all your's has been well used and covered many miles but mine wouldn't have flown any more that 3 miles. Plus the warranty has expired on your plane but mine still has a full 10/10 warranty. That's 10 minutes or 10 feet out the door.  It's a bargain, how could you refuse?

Your's would look terrific parked in my driveway. The boys at the field would be surprised to see me arrive in that. We need the bumps and holes in the field flattened so could you include a nuclear bomb with it. I could do an air burst, it would take care of any bumps. We might even damage our workshop. but a few sheets of tin would fix that.

I've asked my wife and she said OK as long as I don't try fixing it in bed.

All the best mate,  Stuart

My Driveway is a good showplace. I'd have to clear a few trees to fit it in but with a bit of work I could get my bed in there and build planes inside a plane. I'm also an educational institute. I'm teaching the boys how to switch from fuel to foamies and I taught my Grandson how to repair computers. Do I qualify? I'd have to slip a few dollars to the council to turn a blind eye to my request to build a shed. But I'm certain the neighbours wouldn't complain.

I remember some years ago a guy in the US was buying old and large aircraft and turning them into homes. I thought it was a great idea but he built them in California and the in the summer you couldn't live in them due to the heat, Anywhere else you couldn't live in them due the cost of heating them.Id love to have a Hercules or similar. It would make a terrific workshop. Our rotten AirForce decommisioneda dozen or so F111s a few years ago and they just dug a big hole and pushed them in. What a waste.

I asked the council if I could erect a 40 foot dish in my back garden 14 years ago. I was offered one from our local Australian Telescope. I could pick any one I wanted and as long as I left the area tidy I could take one. The miserable bunch said it was an eyesore. Of course I disagreed, I thought it looked great and wanted to do some moon bounce with VHF radio but they wouldn't let me. A guy in England built his dish out of a broomstick and chicken wire and contacted the Arecebo dish via moon bounce. He just climbed on his roof and lashed it to the chimney. No sense of adventure with our council.

A good friend of mine, a police sergeant was given a real flight simulator. It was built during the second world war and had hydraulics to move it around and the full cockpit out of a Spitfire I think it was. He was going to rebuild it but again his council wouldn't let him build it in his garden. He ended up putting in a request to build a new room onto the side of his house. He got approval and as soon as it was passed he ripped the ceiling out and built the simulator inside. The building inspector didn't know the addition to the house was built to house the sim. I heard he got it going but he passed away and I never got another chance to sit in it.

Oh well I can dream about a plane in the driveway. Maybe I'll have to lower my sights and make it a Rolls Royce.

Cheers Gusty Keep that airtime up.  Regards  Stu
