RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Shocked  ....   Thumbs Up

I hope you did take some video of it one the ground, not just of it taking off !  It would be nice to see it on the ground, up close and personal  Wink

In fact, this is something that everyone posting videos should do (IMHO).  Just rotate the model in the camera, or take the camera around the model on the ground.  As soon as the model takes off, it is usually too far away to realize the true beauty and any unique aspects of it.

What you said is 200 % right , we normally don't think  such a video is of any use , but from what you say it is logical that it is the only time to get close up to the plane really.

Hopefully sorted out the Wing Flex by running an aluminium Round tube for the entire length as a SPAR  instead of a short length  as a wing joiner .
Should not flex now.

I was thinking of making the Camera and Equipment Tray  as a kind of a reverse aero foil of the wing  below it  for around 6- 8  inches on either side of the fuse .
What I mean is  a mirror Image of the  wings aero foil below the wing  for 6 - 8  " on either side  around the CG Point which is detachable  without  removing the wing . So for that portion it will be a symmetrical wing  for 6 - 8  " on either side of the fuse .
Inside this box the down facing camera/ camera's  , Batteries for the equipment  , OSD  etc  could be Mounted in such a way that  this section can be slid out  something like a drawer of a table  so the wing does not have to be taken out every time the equipment needs to be accessed .

Ref the above Photo 2 of Saju with the fuse where I made  an attempt  that time with a square box type tray and must say it it played havoc with the air flow around that area  so the thought of  converting that tray  a mirror image and making the wing kind of symmetrical .

My only issue is how would the glide and airflow be affected  by  this mod  Huh? Huh?  any idea

Finally  was able to  test fly the MODS  made to the  MOSS 4 X  and must say the   the MODS worked great   here is the Video :

The wing flex is  sorted out ,  reverse aerofoiled  Instruments Box  which makes the Wing Kind of symmetrical in the center .

Stability is really great  and the plane now  seems to be a great Low Cost FPV/UAV Platform

It glides quite well  as well as the twin star and easy star but not as good as the easy glider pro
