im thinking of getting into micro airplanes which will fly very very slow .wing span not less than 15"and not more than 20"  and planning to build fully of foam 3mm not carbon wing and fuse  .i can build my airframe of my plane 16"(without any electronics)  to say around 35-45grms with foam liter than that is kind of difficult   ..please help in selecting electronics for me tx,rx,prop,motor,esc,servo.batt,auw.

Which TX do you already have? The difficulty with micros is getting components which are light enough for the models wing loading.
If you are looking for a new TX, rx setup. I suggest the Flysky 9x with the FRsky module. Micro receivers are available for FRsky but for the basic 9x TX the receivers are too heavy for micro models. The lightest flysky 9x receiver is a 3ch meant for cars which can also be used on planes. But you are limited to rudder & elevator only or an elevon setup. The 3ch receiver weighs 9 grams with case and 6 grams without.

For a 20 inch model you will also need 2.5gm servos, a 10 gram motor, a 2s 180mah battery, 6Amp esc. Have a look at the J-Bug on rcgroups. it will make for an excellent small space slow flier.

I am planning a mini pusher setup based on the Tuffy plans off rcgroups.

ok heres the problem i have the futaba T6EX  FASST 2.4ghz with rx R6106HF 7grms ,dont want to remove the box of the rx have used this on 24ws slow flyers did well. im sure 15-20ws wont happen.not sure if futab has micro rx like plantraco,i dont know much about micro still doing my research but i would prefer brushless motor and slow flying

All Micro systems are brushless capable. where each gram counts there it does make a difference.

thanking you sir, im planning on making my own designed 20ws slow flyer only of foam 3mm with detachable wings once i make the total airframe i will weigh it and then take a go on electronics from there as per the weight of the the total airframe would that be better sir what do you think what do you recend should be the airframe for a 20incher UC wing

Futaba is compatible with only R6004FF

To make it compatible with Plantraco you need to modify with plantraco modules

A couple of years ago, I had tried to make a micro flyer myself. For the receiver I used a GWS 4 ch micro rx with modifications and brought the weight down to 1.8g. You need to remove the servo pins and the cover to reduce weight. This was a good setup for a plane with an AUW of ~40g. Another idea is to use IR control. If interested I can post some details.

Hi Romanxdsouza , I'm also thinking of making one . Actually I was about to buy a kit from Sundaram sir also . But I left it as I didn't have enough guts to modify my futaba t8fg super  remote to connect with the supermicro module .

35-34 grams is a lot of weight, that's more like a micro parkflyer size, one should aim for 15-20 grams AUW for 15 to 20 inch wingspan models, the lighter the better.

I'm also interested in micro stuff a lot, i have airtronics SD10G will be modifying it to hobby-king 2.4Ghz super-micro once i get my parts. Motors, lipos, charger, BL motors, BL escs, props are available locally.

First one needs to decide on Transmitter and Receiver setup! then its easy to get other parts.

Have you tried using Futaba compatible receivers? i have come across few LHS selling them. How good is your soldering skills  do you like Do it yourself stuff or more into buy stuff assemble n Fly ?

That's a very good receiver if you are aiming micro with Futaba Tx. I have four of those receivers.

After removing the paper covering Its just around 2 gram. You can use 1.7 gms linear servos.

there are few options from hobby-king but its best to post here what you are buying so that other members with similar setup can help.

I feel the most important thing for micro model building/assembling is a good Weighing machine or Scale, a economical Chinese scale of sub 500 grams with +- 10mg accuracy is a must buy, i have a 300gram +-10mg scale got it for 550/- but one can get them for lower cost near Rs 280-320/- range (300 or 200 gram models). When you buy the scale make sure they calibrate it with standard weights to full scale value and it should pass, handle it with care never drop it !
