Sir, this when is killing me seeing all of you guys having a good time flying I feel jealous. I was going to buy the Imax b6 copy from robu.in's ebay listing when I saw it became out of stock. Will have to wait for Kumaran sir to stock it and then I will try my best to come and fly with you guys.

Did the maiden but didnt go well

Can anyone say why my plane is doing this?  when lauching it goes straight but if a rudder input is given it tries to roll so fast. This is 3 channel plane. suggestions pls.

Recheck the rudder alignment on elevator, is it 90 degrees? And the perpendicular alignment on elevator.

Suggestions:

1. Lower the CG. Try and put the battery as low as possible
2. Reduce Rudder throws. In the first video they seemed very high; and that is a large rudder area too
3. Put 40% exponential on rudder

+1 to Sanjay Sir,

Further

Reduce Prop Size by at least 1/3 if not half. I hope you have given the 2 Degrees down and 2 degree right thrust to the motor mount.

Move your CG at least 3-5% forward.

Post by: jana.f22 on September 07, 2015, 08:53:50 PM
@kiran The rudder alignment is perfect 90 degrees,
@sanja rai sir, sundaram sir - using  expo  60% and cg is slightly nose heavy, the recommended prop is 5inch. this is a5x5 prop. yes there is 2degree down and right thrust. even tried reducing the throw to 50% in the last video still the same.

I still think its tail heavy its not dipping nose when wings are level rather its climbing.

Only when banked its dipping nose which is but normal.

Also, check axial CG. As I said before - lower the CG too. Try temporarily fitting the battery to the outside of the model on the fuse bottom. A high CG will make it unstable in roll

I ll try adding weight below the nose part.

here are some suggestions

mix in a bit of up elevator with rudder
put some washout in the wings
