Hi Sai,

I received the MR Moss glider ARF Kit a few days back. Thanx for the same. This is my first build and I have gone through this entire post (and others). Pardon me for some very basic questions. (1) Where is the second smaller fiber glass rod being used? (2) And I presume I have to cut the wing to the same breadth as the polyhydras (7 inches). (3) Do I use the thicker rod for the bend (connecting the polyhydral to the wing) and the thinner one for the servo connectors? (4) Does the main wing require reinforcement or should it be fine as it is?.. I am getting all excited to fly my first plane... Would appreciate your help with the answers.

First of all  go ahead and try out what ever you think is possible  with it . The idea behind MOSS is to allow flexibility in building it the way you  can imagine. There are no rules and regulations concerning MOSS build  Grin
Having said that  the answers to your questions are :
1) Both fiber glass tubes have to be joined together to acheive the correct length of 30 " for the fuse.
2) Some cut it to the  width of polyhydrals others leave the extra as it is to use as ailerons later the  extra width does affect the flying charecteristics  when left , but some persons I know have  adjusted to it and fly it comforably with the additional width.
3) You can use cycle spokes for bending the polyhydral  rods
4)  Depends on the wind conditions  some additional reinforcement is need if you fly in high wind areas.
