Title: Multiplex Twin Star : Brushless Conversion Post by: rcforall on June 21, 2009, 09:54:46 PM Maidened today the Multiplex Twin Star with a Brushless Set Up.
Specn as Below Motor : 2 x Turborix 1050 KV Brushless Out runner ESC : 2 x RCFORALL 20 Amp Battery : 11.1V 4300 Mah Zippy Servos 4 x RCFORALL DYS 0207 17 gms servo Receiver : Corona Synth 72 Mhz Props : GWS 8060 x 2 This plane is a beauty and after flying the Easy cub and Now the Twin star I am truly a Multiplex Fan in every way . 2 sorties of 20 min each reduced the individual cell voltage from 4.07 to 3.72 , I am sure the plane could have flown for easily another 40 mins on the same battery pack. This plane requires a lot of landing room as its glide is so good that it just wants to remain afloat unless you delibrately make an attempt to land it . All this does not make it a lazy plane to fly , put it thru Rolls , Loops etc and it passed these with flying colors as you will see in the Video Here are some Photos will post the Video Tomorrow.
