Thermocole airfoil templates were used as wing ribs. groove was cut on each template so that spar stays in place. spar is a doubled 3 mm coro along the wingspan..

What glue are using for coro and how are you preparing the surface for glue to stick well?
Title: Re: My first build (SPAD) Post by: manu on May 09, 2014, 04:35:35 PM Thankyou everyone.. used a sand paper to sand coro and glued the wing with araldite.. used hot glue for fuse and tail work.. Wing lacks a dihedral.. Don't know what will happen when I fly it..

First time spadders often land up with tail heavy models. Get the CG right - about 1/3rd of the span from the leading edge.
