Title: My first flying experience. Post by: kvnpraveen on May 19, 2013, 09:52:08 PM Bixler v1
Got a chance today to fly for the first time. Had a good time. I think it was a bit nose heavy. Can't seem to find a way to remove the washers that come with it as a weight in the nose. Hopefully I can remove them without much damage to the model. It flew very stable. Finally I am very happy that I got some time to get into this hobby. Cheers Guys. Title: Re: My first flying experience. Post by: kvnpraveen on May 19, 2013, 10:12:22 PM Will do Sanjay sir. Quite windy today at the field. Will give this plane a good go until I get some flying authority. I already have some stick hours on simulator. It is quite different flying on simulator and in real world.
Yes I was thinking the same about moving the battery pack a bit backwards. Title: Re: My first flying experience. Post by: Sahevaan on May 20, 2013, 07:15:18 AM put all your electronics in a plastic bag and hold your models nose in hot water. The hot glue should melt and you can get the washers off. Thats what I did.
